If you don't have that file, it won't work. devs:kickstarts/kick40068.a1200 is a reference to a file on your boot disk in the DEVS/Kickstarts drawer. That's a Kickstart 3.0 you've got in the Amiga right now.

What would that be needed for, and where would it go? I dont understand a bit about 'Relokick or an old 1.3 ROM chip'.

Your best bet to keep legal is to stick a set of genuine 3.1 ROMs in your Amiga and track down something like Relokick or an old 1.3 ROM chip and grab an image of it for your WHDLoad games.įorgetting all the 'grey areas' or keeping legal, would it be possible to resolve this problem with a software solution, or is the only way with a set of 3.1 ROM chips?
