Just the game with references to AGA and CD32 do not appear to be working. It also has the RTB and PAT files from Ģ. There is a way around this but I don't think I should explain it on here :oops:ġ.

If we think about this more - what about all the 600 users that have it installed and working with the original Roms. My original towered 1200 was fitted with version 3.0 Roms and I'm sure I had WHDLoad games installed on it. Otherwise, you'll need to rip the image yourself from an A500, or acquire one through some dubious been giving this a bit of thought today and if you will bear with me I'll try to explain a few things. Relokick is a software package that soft-boots an Amiga into Kickstart 1.3 - If you can find that, you can just pinch the Kickstart image off it for WHDLoad. The stuff about Kickstart 1.3 ROMs is that to play some WHDLoad games, you'll need an A500 Kickstart 1.3 image from somewhere. Your best bet would be to buy a set of Kickstart 3.1 ROMs and plug 'em in. 40.068 is the version of Kickstart 3.1 for the A1200, so it looks like you might need that. If you don't have that file, it won't work. devs:kickstarts/kick40068.a1200 is a reference to a file on your boot disk in the DEVS/Kickstarts drawer. That's a Kickstart 3.0 you've got in the Amiga right now.
What would that be needed for, and where would it go? I dont understand a bit about 'Relokick or an old 1.3 ROM chip'.
Your best bet to keep legal is to stick a set of genuine 3.1 ROMs in your Amiga and track down something like Relokick or an old 1.3 ROM chip and grab an image of it for your WHDLoad games.įorgetting all the 'grey areas' or keeping legal, would it be possible to resolve this problem with a software solution, or is the only way with a set of 3.1 ROM chips? I am not sure if 'devs:kickstarts/kick40068.a1200' is a software image or referring to the hardware. Inside Workbench About Menu it is showing as: So I just opened up the A1200 and think it has 3.0 ROMs inside it as the chip says: I am still a bit of an Amiga newbie, so may need more help than most people.
